TO REACH THE GOSPEL,WHERE GOSPEL NOT YET REACHED..

INDIA known as the heart land of Hinduism, a religion having 33 millions gods and goddesses and the largest democracy in the world with over one billion people. 225 languages and approximately 1600 dialects.19 major religions, 20,000 Castes and sub castes,600,000 villages,350,000 villages hace no christian witness.70% people live in the villages, 65% people are illiterate and still waiting for the Gospel.

The Gospel has been taken to India in an early period of the church history (AD 52) by Apostle Thomas. He sacrificed his life, and many missionaries followed hi. One latest example is Graham Stains the Australian missionary who with his two sons brutally burned alive in front of his wife and daughter in Orissa India.

Churches were planted in South India and many north eastern states of India. But the North India was hard and resistant for the Gospel.S till the North Indian villages are neglected and unreached. That is why Bethel Gospel Ministries(India) started by Pastor Alex C Itty. Bethel Gospel Ministries realised the need of India. The challenge to reach North Indian villages with Gospel of Jesus Christ is immense and ours.
